Resetting Huawei Unlock Code Counter to Zero

Are you trying to unlock your modem but have used up the number of trials alloted to you to enter the unlock code of the modem before it is locked permanently? If so, you just may be in luck. I have received a lot of requests from people asking for a possible solution to this problem and this made me go into a search for it. And i may have found a solution.
To reset the unlock code counter of your modem, here are the steps to follow.
  1. Download huawei modem unlocker from here.
  2. Disconnect your modem from the internet and close the dashboard with the modem still plugged into your computer.
  3. Launch the software.
  4. Click on refresh, select your com port, the model of your modem and then click on "READ MDM DATA". You should have something like this by then
  5. Click on "RESET COUNTER" and then on "SERVICE". If you are successful, you should have this

This unfortunately works on older modems as newer modems are not listed there. Try it out. You may end up being successful. Goodluck. Don't forget to use the comment box below to share your encounters.

    1. If you need need reset service for your huawei K3772 visit SuperUnlockCodes.com This service can be used to reset Huawei models that ask for ?Simlock Block Unlock Reset Key when used with another network sim card. This happens when too many wrong unlock codes were entered previously.
