Just a few days ago MTN stopped the usage of their blackberry plans on non-blackberry phones. This move affected a lot of individuals because it was more economical to use blackberry plans on other devices, especially android devices due to their high data consumption. Well there is a solution to that now, at least it is manageable. So how do you go about it?
First thing you should know is that your phone has to be rooted for this to work, especially those running android versions lower than 4.0 (Ice cream sandwich). Some people say for devices running on Ice cream sandwich and jellybean, rooting is not required but i have not tested this claim yet.

Here are the steps to follow:
- Download droidvpn from playstore. Click here to go there.
- Create an account from www.droidvpn.com. Your password will be sent to your email address.
- Download tun.ko installer from playstore. Click here to go there.
- Install both of them.
- Change your access point to blackberry.net
- Open tun.ko installer from your app drawer and click on "Install". It will connect to the internet to download the required files and notify you when the installation is complete.
- Open droidvpn. Under settings, select "ICMP" as the connection protocol. Under "Account login details", enter the email address you used to register on the site and the password that was sent to you.
- Select any of the free servers in droidvpn and connect.
u may not root. simply use udp port 500. work for andriod 4.0 and above
